My Poor Baby

My poor baby had an accident at home on Monday. :( She ran into a wire fence running away from some dogs that came into our yard. I have no idea who's dogs they were or where they came from. She banged up her face pretty badly and busted her lip. I about lost it and started freaking out myself. It just broke my heart. All i saw was blood on her face and hands, so i rushed inside to take a better look at how bad the cuts were, I washed all the blood off and could tell that her cuts were not deep enough to need stitches. All i kept thinking was OMG...My baby girls face....I put Neosporine on it and then put her in the car and rushed her to the Doctor. The Doctor said she didn't need stiches but wanted to put some stery-strips under her eye to help heal the cut.  She also prescribed her some Antibotics so she wouldn't get an infection and an ointment to be applied to the wounds. By the time we were out of the Doctors office and waiting for the prescriptions Ariana was back to her normal self and acting like nothing had happened. She was doing great. It was just the cuts and scrapes on her face that looked horrible. I told her she could stay home from school the next day, but she insisted on going and was crying because she didn't want to miss out on the fun day they were supposed to have including having the parents eat at school with them. The doctor did say it was ok for her to go to school so i went ahead and sent her. She has been doing great, even had dance practice last night. The cuts and scrapes are healing way better and faster than i thought. I'm so scared of scarring on her face so i'm going to be sure to treat that with the correct stuff. I've been told Mederma for kids works wonders, so that is what i will be trying. I read that it could take 8 weeks to work, but i don't care anything is worth trying to help keep scars away from my princess' face. Below are some pictures

I'm so glad it's healing faster than i thought, I just can't wait till it's completley healed! Even though i know she is not in any pain i just hate having to see that on her!

More Dance and Cheer!!!

Ariana's 2nd Dance competition for this year was held in Montgomery Texas. It was a very Busy and  Long Day. Our day started off at 6:00 a.m. and we didn't make it home until 11:15 p.m. We were exausted...but it was so very well worth it. This year all of the competitions are a minimum of 2 hours away, Thankfully my dad drives us to all of the competitions, I honestly don't know what I would do with out him. The Girls did such a good job on all there team team dances and came home with some awesome Awards. Ariana did a Fantastic job on her Solo. There were lots of girls competing but She was the only one competiting in the Mascot division which is grades Pre-K and Kindergarten  so she came home with the huge 1st place trophy. YAY!!! Dancing in front of a high school gym full of people takes lots of courage. To be the only one on that huge baskeball court and dancing her heart out! I can't help but get nervous every time. I get so nervous thinking she is going to stand there and freak out and not do a thing, and of course she has proven me wrong. I love the strength and courage she has....I have posted a  video of her dancing. This one was shot with my camera so its far away,  (If your reading this in email and can't see the video Please click here to go the the actual blog site)

This Will be Ariana's last cheer competition as she will not be on the competition team next year. I have decided to keep her in tumble classes though since she is really interested in learning how to flip. first thing is getting down the backbend kick over....She is getting better at it take a look at this mini video of her doing a back bend kick over.

and here is one last picture....This is of Ariana this morning before school. (Today was Western Day, and Like her school always does, they seem to send notices home at the last minute) And since we don't own ANY WESTERN Clothes, we had to make do with what we had at home...Too bad we didn't have a cowgirl hat!!!

Hope you all have a great weekend :)
