Updates :)

Hello everyone, Sorry for the long gap between updates. We are doing great! After 6 competitions between Cheer and Dance in 2 1/2 months i'm happy to announce that competition Season is Finally OVER....YAY!!!  It is so much Fun, but i'm so glad it's over with for now! We will have alot more free time on our hands..YAY!! Ariana's last competition (NATIONALS) was held in Galveston at Moody Gardens Hotel Convention Center. We had a blast, She Loved the place and had a great time competiting. The team came home with numerous awards including National Grand Champions on there Hip Hop Routine (All the Single Ladies). I was so proud of her and all the girls on the team for putting so much hard work into there routines. Ariana was not a finalist on her Solo Performance but she still did an Outstanding job, She still scored a Superior I Rating which means she got a 90 or above on her scores whish is AWESOME!!! Her End of the year Recital will be on Saturday April 16th in El Campo. Then after that we kick into full gear in preparing for try-outs for Next years' Dance Team. She will again try out for the elementary team :) and she has decided on doing a Solo once again, so we are currently looking for a song. Monica will choreograph her routine and Ariana will continue taking private lessons with her. She will add a lot more technique to the dance and make it more difficult, which is what the judges look for at competion. Ariana is up for the challenge and wants to do it, so of course you know i'm all for it :)

As for school goes Ariana is doing great, I just got a smile-o-gram from her teacher at the beginning of this month and it read as follows: "Ariana has been doing a wonderful job reading and writing. She has been sharing stories from her journal with the class" - G. Seymour" Those smile-o-grams definitley put a smile on my face when i get them :) Next Monday I have a conference with the teacher where i will get more detailed information on where she stands with her reading levels, etc.

We have have offically moved in to our new place...Even though i'm still on the same property, Ariana loves it alot better because she says she has a bigger front yard now, LOL..She loves to play outside, riding her bike, driving her jeep, and playing teather ball. She also has a new puppy, (not sure what type it is, but i've been told it looks like the presidents....a portuguese water dog) She named him EDWARD..for now he is living with my parents, and only comes over to play in the evenings when my dad brings him, but it looks like Edward will be living with us SOON...OH NO!! as most of you know i hate dogs, don't want to touch them, bath them or anything like that.. It will be an outside dog, but my mom has taken the job of bathing it and Ariana will be feeding him...lol...someone's got to do it if the princess wants a puppy and I refuse to do that, LOL..sorry, but thats one thing that i can't give into...It took me forever just to finally accept that he can live with us.
Ariana and Edward
(yes she named him after Edward on Twilight, lol)

As for the accident Ariana had last month well it's healing great. Scabs are gone, she does have a scar, but i'm hoping that Mederma does its job and takes it away!!

Hope all of you have a great weekend :)
